Regional Finance Officer – Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe Region

To Ensure the support from MEEE RO finance team is performed to all stakeholder, RO in good Financial Position by partnering with other departments.

In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated team player with strong self-organization skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Computer literacy along with MS Office package (Excellent Excel skills, Very good Power-point presentation skills)
• 3 -5 years’ experience in similar role
• Experience in INGOs is a plus
• Detail orientation and a passion for producing high-quality solutions
• Cultural awareness
• Verbal and written fluency in EnglishKey responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1) SOF Budgeting and Partnership with Project Manager to serve SCI goals and implement the Program as Planned and provide the support needed for Project team.

  2) Work on Monthly dynamic forecast to Provide Head of FP&A and stakeholder with the relevant information on time to assess and take the action needed.

  3) Prepare MEEE RO Master budget.

  4) Support and provide input in the Proposal budgeting.

  5) Provide customized Monthly Financial reporting “BVA” to stakeholder and support them in reviewing it and make any adjustment needed.

  6) Prepare the Monthly Financial review and YER Disclosure form.

  7) Monitor cross charge accounts.

  8) Salary allocation process include review Time sheet quality.

  9) Expensing for Prepayment, depreciation and calculate Hosting fees and cross charge it.

  10) S2P related tasks: banking questioner, AP champion.

• Accountable for:11) Ensure that Payment run is per the Payment schedule and beneficiary received their Payment on time.

  12) RO have the right Cash balance on the Bank account and Cash KPI is Green.

  13) National staff Payroll Are Paid on time and net Payment, Tax Payment and Social Security Payment is accurate and according to Jordanian Law.

  14) Social security system and tax department system are reconciled with SCI systems.

  15) All MEEE RO staff are briefed from finance team about the financial procedure and Practice at RO.

  16) Transaction registered and posted in weekly basis and very good posting performance in place.

  17) Balance sheet is monitored and no outstanding item and BS KPI is green.

  18) Disallowance tracker is prepared, and communicated clearly with FD and stakeholder and mitigation action is taken.

  19) MEEE RO Audit report is clean.

  20) Finance is presented in the Procurement committee and as per the policy.

  21) Annual Leave reconciliation is completed in quarterly basis in the partnership with HR team.

  22) Bank reconciliation is completed in Monthly basis.

  23) Review and follow up on Partner account and maintain the right support from SCI partners.

  24) Undertake any other duty as reasonably requested
