The Corporate Vice President of Refreshment Services has the primary financial and operational responsibility for all branches/division within the company. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Operations the Vice President of Refreshment Services is the executive responsible for expanding Five Star’s Refreshment Services line of business. The Vice President is responsible for development and execution of strategic sales initiatives and building strategic relationships with our current and future customers and distributors to develop profitable programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage and develop all corporate refreshment services team members to ensure the success of a high functioning leadership team. Work collaboratively with corporate and division level management to ensure best in class service standards, execution, compliance, and profitability meets or exceeds company guidelines and budgets. Must be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training refreshment directors; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; succession planning; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Visits branches and clients to maintain internal and external relationships and reacts to any comments, suggestions, or concerns for the purpose of account retention; actively assists regional directors of refreshment operations to achieve pricing and retention goals. Conduct regular meetings refreshment leaders to discuss strategies and needs.
Formulates and leads execution of comprehensive sales strategy to ensure department achieves or exceeds targeted sales growth and profit plan.
Assists with the selection and evaluation of potential venfor partnerships.
Recruits and develops qualified refreshment service representatives to enable the expansion of our business and builds an effective and results achieving team.
Ensures Five Star’s operating standards in the areas of customer service and product quality are consistently adhered to.
Ensures compliance with company personnel policies and practices, accounting procedures and practices and prudent use of company facilities and assets.
Collaborates with our marketing team to develop and deploy programs and offerings that expand our reach in all facets coffee, allied products, bulk water, water filtration, and pantry services.
Collaborates with our training department to develop and expand refreshment service training and subject matter expertise in products, equipment, and service.
Develops and monitors realistic and accurate budget and forecasts.
Meets commitment to results for all areas of responsibility including but not limited to: Client Retention and Satisfaction, Financial Performance and Requirements, and Purchasing.
Directs business to achieve high performance as measured by the company scorecard.
Coaches and supports Operating and Sales teams; administers corrective action and human resource policy; provides performance feedback.
Communicates organizational goals; visits branch locations and critiques operations; facilitates idea generation.
Maintains a deep knowledge of coffee, coffee products, bulk water, pantry products and pantry operations.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Actively supports sales activities to include client presentations, refreshment events, trade shows, proforma development, and refreshment space design.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and (10) Five year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication, Appearance, And Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; be able to write reports and business correspondence ,and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customer s, and the general public. Individual must have strong communication and negotiation skills.
