An opportunity has arisen in Health & Safety department to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Family. The main purpose of this position is to assist in the efficient and effective running of the Health and Safety Management System in the property.
Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role
Assisting with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, programs and processes
Monitoring trends and recommend pro-active action plans to remedy potential problems.
Facilitating, investigating and analyzing incidents and make sure lessons learned are shared and communicated to the concern parties.
Assisting with investigating and reporting all alleged food poisoning cases
Reporting all incidents and accidents on “Perspective”
Assisting with the Management of Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene related matters
Assisting and coordinating with fire & life safety procedures
Assisting the Food and Beverage Team in preparation for HACCP promotion and implementation.
Assisting with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, programs and processes

Carrying out Health Safety and Environment training such as Near Misses, Risk Assessment, Environmental awareness, etc. for all the colleagues
Meet and liaise with enforcement officers and other officials from external organizations including Fire Consultants, Legionella Consultants, Environmental Consultants, Hygiene Consultants, etc.
Conducting Health, Safety & Kitchen Hygiene Inspections and spot checks
Conducting Risk Assessments periodically and ensuring identified risks are managed and controlled effectively.
Attending the monthly Health Safety and Environment Group meeting and raise and deliberate with Committee on any Health Safety and Environment issues.
Attending the monthly HACCP Team meeting and raise and deliberate on any food safety issues.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hotel School Degree or Diploma/ Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or Environment
“NEBOSH” or ‘IOSH’ Certificate or equivalent is desirable.
A minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in 5-star international luxury environment
Presentable and with great communication skills
Multi-Culture environment experience
Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with different groups of diverse needs and requirements in a motivational manner.
Valid Bahrain driver license is essential.

Developing and maintaining an elegantly appointed environment, with superior colleagues, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods.
Maintaining a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests.
Being able to control reservations and seating of the outlet.
Being able to control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.

About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Guest Relations Executive role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Family. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Setting up the host/hostess stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the room.
Inspecting the cleanliness of each section of the dining room and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.
Being able to pick up the daily menus and insert them properly in their covers.
To inspect every menu and list to ensure their immaculate condition and appearance.
Assigning seating taking into account service standards.
Ensuring each guest receives the highest quality of service.
Handling guests without reservations or those waiting for others to join them.
Identifying potential problems and ask for assistance before breakdown occurs.
Ensuring to serve safe food, following the food safety procedures and HACCP system.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hotel School Degree or Diploma
A minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.
Multi-Culture environment experience

An opportunity has arisen for a Kids Club Attendant to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Family. The main purpose of this position to ensure that the daily services and operation of the Kid’s Club is maintained at the highest standards.
Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role
Ensuring safety & security of child within confined area.
Actively and enthusiastically interact and participate in all scheduled activities, including but not limited to games, sports, and swimming activities.
Work in designated area as assigned i.e., 2-4 or 5-12 age group, reception or baby administration, Birthdays, Parties and Events etc.
Responsible for supervising guests and children
Assist in Organizing & scheduling new events & activities.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hotel School Degree or Diploma/ Certificate or Equivalent.
Basic first aid training and pediatric and HACCP training.
Flexible and with good team spirits.
Strong in English communication skills.
Childcare experience and sports background will be an added advantage.
