Service Worker
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform a variety of basic clerical and administrative tasks including maintaining workplace cleanness, serving drinks, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure that workplace remains clean, presentable and in a proper welcoming manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Policies, Processes & Procedures
Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions
so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day- to-day operations
Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Job Specific Accountabilities
Provides a high-quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dosing,
emptying bines and policing surfaces to ensure that workplace remains clean and presentable.
Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the
established standards and procedures.
Prepares various reports in order to present to management so that they are aware of any updates
Acts as a point-of-contact on projects or in events to ensure coordination of support to key projects or

Provides a full range of services to internal customers, following up as necessary to ensure all needs
are met.
Takes the lead on the preparation of various documents to ensure the smooth functioning of the
department.
Drafts memos and e-mails to ensure transparent communication with concerned parties.
Assists in coaching junior staff carrying out assigned tasks to contribute to their development.
Notifies administration when materials are running low to ensure they can be ordered centrally in a
Confidential timely manner.
Provides support for staff, or other management staff to help them in doing their responsibilities.
Makes and serves drinks to guests and managers to make them feel welcomed.
Coordinates the maintenance and repair activities to ensure that workplace remains presentable and in
a proper manner.
Continuous Improvement
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and
practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost
reduction and productivity improvement
Reporting
Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of administration to meet company and
