Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Elev8 is searching for a Senior HR Business Partner with the experience needed to ensure alignment between the business operations and HR practices and objectives. They must understand the business’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide decision making. They will also assist in the local thought leadership and strategic day-to-day operations of our local HR office striving to engage our teams and organization through engaging & collaborative discussion, change leadership, effective execution, and responsive partnerships.
The role will operate within the Human Resources unit under the Strategic Global HR Business Partner and be based in Qatar.

Assist with the development of Human Resources policies regarding employee relations.
Engage with business teams to drive positive engagement across our site; Lead your local team through strong communication, effective change management, and consistent drive to the expected outcomes.
Comply with all existing governmental and labor law, legal, and government reporting requirements including any related to the Local Legislation, Occupational Safety and Health, etc. to maintain minimal company exposure to lawsuits.
Collaborate with leaders across the business, working to improve retention and development strategies; including regular 1-1s with your local leaders and skip level leaders with a goal of having effective working relationships beyond typical people/HR topics.
Build highly effective teams across our local organization by working in collaboration with the Operations team, Recruitment, Training, Legal, Finance, and IT; Ensure talent pursuit includes high-potential people who have the capability to learn our businesses.
Monitor the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee engagement.
Ensure top talent is identified and valued in our site and business teams; In partnership with the local leadership team, identify, grow and challenge existing talent in preparation for the future business need and forecasted demand.
Coach leaders and lead by example with critical conversations and regular, feedback-oriented performance processes.
Take responsibility for the smooth and timely running of HR operations and office.
Provide information and consultancy, where necessary, to managers and employees about employee relations, HR activities, benefits, and disciplinary actions.
Assist with carrying out a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or any related field.
Master’s degree or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is an added advantage.
5+ years of experience working within an HR department as either an HR Generalist or HRBP in the Middle East.
Knowledge of the applicable labor law and practices along with a strong understanding of MS Office tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidential information, as well as flexibility, self-motivation, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team.
Professional fluency in English and the local language is essential, both written and spoken.
