The Role

The Marketing Executive will provide support within the departments by assisting with the implementation, monitoring and evaluating the hotel’s marketing strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximise the hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets.

As a Marketing Executive, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and below are some of the Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions), including digital marketing to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue generating departments.
Ensure the communication activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
Assist in the preparation and update the Departmental Operations Manuals
Attend regular departmental marketing communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
Conduct daily rounds in the hotel facilities and outlets, interact with internal and external guests, obtain feedback and handle immediate complaints.
Assist in the preparation, utilisation and update of an Annual Marketing Plan.
Monitor all current attitudes and public statements concerning the hotel in foreign and local media and on social portals, and applying proper standard responses and feedback.
Keep up-to-date with industry news, trends, issues site features and best practices on E marketing essentials.
Work closely with The Director of Marketing to ensure hotel website content is relevant, up to date and optimised – key focus food and beverage promotions.
Work closely together with other Departments to assess and support their internal and external communications needs through various communications methods.

Qualifications

B.A in Marketing or E-Commerce
1-3 years of experience in hospitality sector
Excellent Copywriting skills
Experience in handling social media accounts
Fluent in both English and Arabic Languages
Quick learner
Creative … Energetic… open-minded
