E-Channels Development Officer (Microsoft Power Platform Developer)

Summary:

The Power Platform Developer at Jordan Ahli Bank is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving applications and automated workflows that enhance business operations and customer experiences. This role specializes in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dataverse.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop apps using Microsoft Power Platform tools, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Offer end-to-end support throughout the application lifecycle, from development to maintenance.
• Use Power Apps to customize business applications.
• Integrate Power Platform apps with other systems using APIs and connectors, while understanding the boundaries and constraints of each tool.
• Assist in collecting and understanding business needs and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Solve challenging technical issues in collaboration with the teams.
• Encourage and participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the departments.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to understand and resolve client issues.
• Design solutions aimed at improving collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Power Platform, providing guidance to business managers and IT staff.
• Maintain exhaustive technical documentation for each project phase, from development to deployment.
• Generate release notes for new features and improvements.
• Evaluate business problems critically to determine whether Microsoft Power Platform is the appropriate solution.
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to business leaders.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform Development.
• Proficiency in using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dataverse.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Develops strong working relationships.
• Attention to details.
