IT Security Senior Manager
About the job
Job Purpose:
- The Information Security manager serves as the process owner for all ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to and protect the confidentiality and integrity of customer, employee, and business information in compliance with organization policies and standards.
GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Corporate Governance Ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory or legal frameworks.
- People ManagementManage people in line with people policies and best practices.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- IT Risk Policy. Documents security policies and procedures approved by the IT Steering Committee
- Assessment Perform information security risk assessments and serves as an internal auditor for security issues
- Awareness Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to create information security awareness within the organization
- ImplementationImplementing the security policies to manage the information security throughout the information systems and bank’s activities to maintain confidentiality guidance
- ISMS Managing the bank’s information security management system (ISMS) according to the approved policies and procedures and assuring compliance
- System Access Managing and administering physical and logical system accesses, maintaining access rights matrices of systems and ensure adequate access controls maintained within system processes
- Investigations. Participating in security investigation, management reviews of information security risk matters, technical vulnerabilities, audit of ISMS
- Product & process testing. Assess and report on risk in processes and products, propose modifications & actions to ensure risk is covered
- Disaster Recovery Help in the disaster recovery plan in coordination with IT and business

Education:
- Masters in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineer or equivalent. .
Knowledge:
- Strong audit and risk management awareness in respect of IT applications
- Banking systems
- Corporate banking and consumer banking operations and risk issues
- Theoretical & practical knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
Experience:
- At least 6 years’ experience in IT Security preferably within the banking industry
One or all of IT networks, IT technical Support, IT risk, IT Security, System Development.
