Senior Category Manager – Saudi Arabia
We are seeking several Category Managers/Contract Advisors to join our client’s procurement team to work on an exciting project in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will be providing a commercial procurement category management function across general spend.
Roles will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis and will be based in North West Saudi Arabia or Riyadh.
Responsibiities
- Undertake the Procurement process for RFI, RFP, E-procurement, negotiation and vendor management within the categories above
- Negotiating, drafting and completing contractual terms for projects and works within the Category
- Cultivate and manage key supplier relationships for long term strategic positioning
- Lead commercial negotiations through to contract award or amendment
- Own the development of category strategies including research and analysis (spend analysis, make vs. buy, cost benchmarking, etc.) to identify category saving opportunities and develop strategic category plans.
- Pursue continuous improvement of process and technologies and commercial innovation
- Provide expertise, guidance and training to others in the team on effective category management.

- Category experience in at least one of the following: Construction, Arts, Wildlife, Heritage, Hospitality, Tourism, Corporate Services
- Demonstrated experience of achieving significant savings, both through major initiatives and continuous improvement (on an annual basis)
- Strong stakeholder management skills at a senior level
- Experience undertaking multiple concurrent strategic sourcing activities
- Knowledge and experience of Vendor management
- Strong with Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient with vlookups and pivot tables.
These roles will be paying up to 44,000 SAR per month plus benefits.
