A leading manufacturing company is looking to hire a Social Media Specialist, the ideal candidate is a team player who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:Â Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and enhances brand awareness and engagement.
Platform Management:Â Manage the company’s presence across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others relevant to the firm.
Content Creation:Â Oversee the creation and publication of engaging and high-quality content. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in voice and brand.
Community Management:Â Foster an active and engaged community. Respond to comments and customer queries promptly.
Campaign Management:Â Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align campaign strategies and goals.
Performance Tracking:Â Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of social media campaigns. Use data insights to inform future strategy and campaigns.

Crisis Management:Â Monitor social media for any negative comments or criticisms and handle these professionally and promptly to mitigate any potential damage.
Collaboration:Â Collaborate with other departments, including marketing & sales to ensure brand consistency and to meet overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
Strong content creation skills, with a knack for creating engaging and shareable content.
Strong understanding of social media KPIs and performance tracking.
Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics would be a plus.
Knowledge of online marketing channels and marketing trends.
