About the job
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated administrative officer to join a friendly team at Ryde Hospital. This role is temporary full time until 30/06/2025. You will be working with a small team, digitising new and old healthcare records.

Remuneration: $1,118.81 – $1,158.15 per week

What You’ll Be Doing

The Health Information Services (HIS) Clerk is responsible for a wide range of clerical duties and is a key position within HIS. These duties include, but are not limited to performing discharge analysis on each record, sorting, scanning and assembly of inpatient records, pulling records for internal and external customers (including outpatient clinics, research, admissions and emergency), filing of loose sheets, processing patient information requests and coordinating records required for outstanding coding.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

Please outline your relevant administrative experience, including any relevant experience using document imaging software or patient administrative systems.
Please describe your understanding of privacy legislation as it relates to management of health care records.
How do you ensure attention to detail and accuracy in your work?

All NSW Health workers are required to have two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, as defined by NSW Health.
