Safwa Consulting & Mottawer Engineering Group (MEG & Partners) is seeking a creative individual to join our team in Jordan-Amman as an Architectural Designer specializing in residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational projects. As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and execution of architectural projects, guiding them from concept to construction. Your primary focus will involve technical detailing, proficiency in Revit, and collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams.

 

– Responsibilities

· Develop designs and plans that align with client requirements.

· Prepare design, specifications, technical, and construction drawings.

· Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Revit, utilizing BIM technology for effective development and coordination of architectural models and drawings.

· Create technical details and specifications for architectural elements, materials, and finishes, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.

· Work closely with project managers, designers, and engineers to facilitate communication and coordination throughout all project phases.

· Engage with clients to comprehend their vision, requirements, and feedback, providing

proactive design solutions.

 

 

This overview covers a substantial portion of the role’s essential tasks but is not exhaustive. There may be other routine responsibilities within the studio as needed. Furthermore, the focus on duties and responsibilities might evolve based on the evolving requirements of our business.

 

– Skills

· Strong design and technical skills are essential for candidates, along with excellent written and verbal English communication abilities.

· The capability to contribute to or autonomously manage phases spanning from schematic design to construction documents is a prerequisite.

· Candidates should be self-directed, motivated, and possess a keen desire to learn and grow rapidly.

 

– Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent) is required.

Revit software is a must.

· Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction principles, building systems, and materials.

· Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design.

· BIM Experience is a plus.
