About the job

Lahore University Of Management Sciences Position Purpose

To facilitate the lab director of one of the Energy and Power Systems related labs, including:

• Electro-Mechanical Systems (EMS)
• Electrical Power Systems (EPS) Lab
• Power Electronics Lab

The primary responsibility would be to conduct projects, maintain equipment, operate lab machines, and any other support or service requested by the lab director.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver lab content and conduct and assess lab experiments and exams as per the course requirement.
• Upkeep, procurement, design, and development of lab equipment/modules as required.
• Operation, maintenance, and inventory management of laboratory equipment and consumables.
• Help in installation and calibration/ quality check of new equipment.
• Help research students in setting up their experimental work.
• Should understand and implement the safety protocols in these labs.
• Prepare the technical specifications including the selection and sizing of lab equipment as required during lab set up and upgradation process.

• Strong interest and/or some lab experience in the relevant specialization areas.

To Qualify For The Role, You Must Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy and Power Systems from an HEC-recognized University with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
• Fresh graduates or candidates awaiting final year results can apply. (Final transcripts must be provided at the time of joining)
