RESPONSIBILITIS
• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for construction projects in the fields of power, oil and water.
• Provide technical support to the proposal team by reviewing and commenting on technical components of proposals.
• Utilize CANDY software to perform cost estimating, including the analysis of labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Review and analyze client specifications and requirements, drawings to determine the scope of work.
• Establish and maintain accurate project cost estimates,
*Review project specifications and drawings, and perform site visits as necessary to gather information for cost estimates.

• Maintain accurate project cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts, and indirect costs in a database.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Bid Team to negotiate with approved vendors/suppliers and subcontractors for supplies/materials.
• Review final electrical estimate packages for accuracy and completeness prior to formal quote.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and corporate/client presentation meetings as required.
REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation and proposal in the construction industry, specifically in power, oil, and water projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, construction methodologies, and relevant regulations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and labor costs.
• Use of estimation software programs e.g CANDY and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret project specifications, drawings, and contracts
• Ability to identify potential risks and challenges associated with electrical projects.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
