Senior Java Software Engineer
About the job
Rockware is a software development company based in Munich, Germany. Currently building a new team in our new branch in Amman, Jordan.
As Senior Java Developer you will work with our international team and help our customers to get the solution they need.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications
- Identify and analyze user requirements
- Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications
- Maintaining quality standards through a structured approach and the application of modern development methods (unit tests, code reviews, code metrics, continuous integration)
Skill Set and Experience:
- University degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Experience in several of the following tools, technologies and frameworks: Java, JavaScript, Spring, Maven, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Mockito, Oracle and MSSQL
- At least 5 years of Java development experience
- Quick grasp of new topics
- Enjoy developing innovative solutions in motivated, international teams of developers
- Excellent communication skills (good knowledge of English is a must, German language is a plus)
