Progressive Generation® Studios, a leading Animation studio, is thrilled to extend to talented Audio Engineer & Music producer professional to join our extraordinary team. We are dedicated to creating exceptional content and are seeking individuals who share our passion to collaborate with us.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate audio equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, mixing consoles, and recording software/hardware.
- Record sound for various applications, such as music albums, movies, TV shows, podcasts, commercials, or live events.
- Mix and balance audio tracks to achieve the desired sound quality, ensuring clarity, balance, and proper levels.
- Apply audio effects and enhancements when necessary, such as reverb, equalization, compression, and noise reduction.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Calibrate and optimize studio equipment for optimal sound quality.
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Monitor and adjust audio levels to ensure consistent sound quality.
- Address any technical issues or feedback problems promptly.
- Add and synchronize sound effects and foley to enhance the audio-visual experience.
- Mix dialogue, music, and sound effects to create a balanced and immersive final product.
- Conduct quality checks on audio recordings to identify and rectify any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure that audio projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues that may arise during recording or live events.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in audio software and hardware, including digital audio workstations (DAWs) and mixing consoles.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, and audio signal processing.
- Excellent listening skills and a keen ear for sound quality.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
