Sales Support Representative
About the job
Sales Support Representative is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with our principal manufacturers, suppliers to respond to customer inquiries. The position works with the Sales team in driving key initiatives and helping Al Salaam Petroleum to achieve its goals and sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Customer focused approach with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Effectively manage the Bid to Order cycle in collaboration with respective Sales Team.
- Experience in inside sales or customer service in a manufacturer with proven success in managing proposals with optimized cost levels.
- To review customer specifications and documents to evaluate the relevant product line and obtaining timely quotations from suppliers.
- Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including updating and maintaining sales management tool, while monitoring hit-rate optimization.
- Compile weekly sales reports for management review.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently and be a team player with a positive mindset and approach.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP packages.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel and attend site visits, customer meetings to support Sales team.
Requirements

- Experience with customer relationship management in the power generation and utility industries.
- Experience in pricing, contract review, CRM and ERP administration.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical/ Instrumentation engineering.
