Customer Service Representative

An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as a Customer Service Representative in our offices in Umraniye, Istanbul.

The purpose of this position is to maintain a high level of customer relationships, and ensure Kennametal delivers high standards of service to its customers.

You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and support related tasks that cover the entry and handling of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. The ability to communicate in English, combined with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, are more important than prior work experiences.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer service communications by phone and emails
  • Handling quotes, orders, offers, and invoicing for customers
  • Processing complaints and returns
  • Analysing and solving problems connected with sales processes
  • Responsibility for customer satisfaction

Desirable education and work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent Turkish, and good level of English are required
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data processing software is required
  • Ability to communicate well (verbal and written) within the team and with customers
  • Previous experience in customer service is an advantage
