The Role
The Massage Therapist will be responsible to perform professional massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing (aesthetic services) and remain current with the industry.Perform in a safe and professional manner to clients.Provide uncompromised attention to guest/ member service.
As a Massage Therapist, you will be reporting directly to the Spa Manager and below are some of the key responsibilities:
- To massage clients maintaining the clients comfort at all times.
- Perform all body treatments, as certified/ trained to do so.
- Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each massage.
- Keep work area clean and neat at all times.
- Maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all treatments offered.
- The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related questions with members and guests.
- Perform loofah treatments and herbal wraps as required .
- Be aware of current trends in body treatment and aesthetic industry.
- Serve as catalyst to promote spa services to members and hotel guests.
- Maintain current professional licenses.
- Ensure individual is well versed in all aspects of the Spa’s operations i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, spa services (massage, loofah, facial, etc.), Retail sales.
- Report dysfunctional equipment to Manager .
- Assist in the operations of departments as required such as; Fitness, Facility Operations, etc…
Qualifications

- Massage Certificate.
- Very good level of English language.
- 1-2 years’ experience in 5 stars hotels
