JOB TITLE: SENIOR DESIGNER-PIPING

Key Responsibilities

 

• Conversant in referring Engineering documents – Piping Design basis, Piping & Instrument diagram (P&ID’s), Line Lists, Piping Material Specification, Process / Mechanical Data sheets (PDS / MDS), Instrument interface details etc.
• Development of Plot Plan, Equipment layout, Piping study, Nozzle Orientation & Isometrics. Identify Technical irregularities & resolution with other Engineering disciplines.
• Inputs to Civil Engineering – Pipe-Rack, Sleepers, Technological structure, Vessel supported platforms, access platforms, Pipe supports etc.
• Carrying out Clash / interface check, inconsistency & resolution with other Engineering disciplines.
• Preparing MTO (Material Take offs)
• Review of Vendor drawings
• Participation in 3D Model reviews.

Essential Qualifications And Skills

 

• Piping design Engineering Exp of 12 years
• Oil and Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical experience is must.
• Able to interpret International Code & Standard requirements along with project specifications.

Preferred Software Experience

 

• PDMS (Proficient),
• E3D (Exposure)
• SP3D (Exposure)
• Navisworks Simulate (Proficient)
• Office Tools (Proficient)
• AutoCAD
