Graphic Designer
Job brief:
The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, making videos and producer it and prepare designs and content creator.
You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, products and services and more
Your graphics and videos should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
Responsibilities:
• Create marketing copy to advertise our company and products such as designs and videos.
• Editing videos using Adobe premiere and Adobe after affect.
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Update our websites as needed
• Prepare digital marketing designs, and display advertising.
• Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Prepare studio and voice over.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software.
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• writing blog posts about industry-related topics
Requirements:
• Experience as Graphic design or field related.
• Good writing and reading acumen
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Good time management skills
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Comfortable yet professional presence on camera
• Ability to improvise in a live on-camera setting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Active social media presence
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe premiere and Adobe after affect)
• Proven work experience as a Content Creator or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Wix)
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• BA/BSc in Graphic design, Journalism or a related field
