About The Role
Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our International HR team based in the Pakistan as HR Assistant, reporting to the HR Manager providing support for Pakistan & Afghanistan to provide a range of HR Services to the region ensuring compliance and local legislation and QR policies.
You will add immediate value by providing support to line managers in our Ground Services, Commercial and Cargo in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, leadership development, performance management, and talent management.

Role Accountabilities
- Perform all HR administration activities to ensure complete and timely HR service to the team.
- Co- ordinate HR requests from managers in Pakistan team.
- Provide full administration support to the Human resources department and managers
- Prepare/coordinate HR documentation required for head office HR department (Job descriptions/ staff movement approvals/ staff requisition forms, org charts, probation reports and confirmations, resignations)
- Work with internal and external parties on HR issues
- Write staff vacancy notices and press adverts by going through specification and obtaining necessary approvals
- Coordinate training requests and travel arrangements
- Manage local training sessions
- Liaise with head office training/HR dept
- Assist managers in the preparation of KPI and Appraisal documents for staff
- Prepare paperwork for staff recruitment, confirmation, promotion, re-designation, salary revision and termination
- Process paperwork of new joining staff
- Liaise with the finance department in payroll preparation
- Maintain employee leave records and personnel files
- Provide advice and guidance to employees on personnel policies and contractual obligations

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need.
- Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience in HR role in fast paced, multisite environment
- MS Office, MS windows, and HRMS system communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment to all levels in the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving ability interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and work well across all functions and across all levels of the organization
- Time and project management
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain direction and focus through proactive planning and an organized approach to work
