Sales Assistant

Our client is looking for someone to support our Sales Director and Commercial Director.

They sell via multiple outlets: Online sales, Instagram/ Whatsapp queries/ Physical showrooms in

Jordan and Trunkshows abroad.

We need someone to help take on a lot of the administrative elements of the job, as well as the

client-facing. The candidate must be very discrete, and a people person!

You will be responsible for producing excellent customer service. This involves everything from

selling goods and handling payments dealing with customers and making sure that the goods are

attractively displayed. Your job role is to help customers find the products they want.

Duties:

Serving Customers/ Client facing:

● Advising & serving customers

● Processing payments

● Assisting customers in order to help them find what they need

● Ensuring stock levels are well maintained/ have knowledge of them prior to customers

● Promoting store cards or special offers

● Providing customers with information on pricing and product availability.

● Following up with customers on their orders

● Collecting accurate fit notes and communicating to internal team members regarding

alterations or customization.

Admin of sales:

● Help execute stock takings, deliveries & transfers

● Maintaining stock count

● Preparing Packing lists and Delivery Orders

● Ensuring the store is merchandised and displayed as per the guidelines

● Cleanliness and upkeep of Store standards

● Manage all order entries into different systems; invoicing/ sales reports.

● Assisting the Sales Director with Reports to the Commercial director

● Tracking payments and delivering

● Updating and Maintaining customer databases (contact/measurements..)

● Tracking and updating order cycle from confirmation until delivery & following up on

customer satisfaction

● Conduct 1st phase of quality control for orders prior to delivery

● Pick & pack online orders and returns (Online)

● Arranging logistics for travel abroad

● Updating and Maintaining our website

Working hours:

You and your manager would manage your shift time, 9- 6 or 10 – 7.

This role requires alternating Saturdays, so two weeks out of your month would be a 6

working day week.

Someone who is flexible during the holiday season (Christmas period, sales activations

season) which correlates with a high sales season. Please note due to the nature of the high

season sales period which is typically in December till 1st week of January, therefore it is

unlikely that annual vacation would be approved during this time.

● A great communicator both written and oral in Arabic and English

● Someone ambitious, driven, and who has no problem taking their own initiatives

● Someone who is flexible and enjoys a fast-paced and dynamic workspace that can

change day by day

● Manage all order entries from showroom data, order confirmation, product

information and assortment optimization.

● Communicate clearly with all relevant parties when dealing with order shipments,

RTVs, swaps, cancellations, and replenishment orders to ensure efficient fulfillment.

● Monitor sales performance and sell-through analyses, providing quantitative and

qualitative feedback and insights to support the wider business with both budgets

forecasting as well as range plan development.

● Work cross-functionally internally with finance, operations, customer service,

marketing and other teams to ensure wholesale customers have a full 360 support

to drive their business.

● Send wholesale invoices to relevant parties and work with finance to monitor

payments and fulfillment.

● Maintain all customer data files as well as monitor changes in the market across

both new and existing accounts to ensure that Olivia von Halle continues to be

present in the most prestigious wholesale accounts globally.

● Support with other ad hoc tasks as required by the Commercial director.
