Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa offers easy access to Kuwait’s Central Business District, airport and major attractions. The beachfront resort features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites and 12 villas, seven restaurants, cafés and lounges, a Talise Spa, 200-metre private beach, two swimming pools and a children’s play area. Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom.

An exciting role has arisen for a Public Relations Officer to join Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.
Your Key Duties Will Include
Support the HR function by ensuring all paperwork are processed at the labour department
Residence visa renewal for colleagues, and for authorized dependents
Civil ID renewal, follow up, collection and distribution to colleagues after renewal
Arrange for medicals and fingerprinting, including appointments and transportation
Process residence transfer for local hires
Visit the embassies to process the labour contracts and visas for respective employees
Process attestation of required documents from respective government departments such as Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Keep track of Municipality tests and renewal of booklets for those required
Assist in the renewal of any of the Hotel licenses by visiting and following up with respective government departments such as Chamber of Commerce, KFD, Authority of Health & Nutrition, Municipality, etc…
Assist during any inspection from the Ministry of Manpower, or any other inspections in the absence of the Director of Government Relations & Security
Build and maintain strong relations with different government departments
Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team including occasional operational assistance for large events or hotel functions.
About You
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Previous experience in or equivalent role
Holding valid Kuwait residence visa and driving license
Positive attitude
Excellent communication and people skills
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on their own or in teams
