Job Description of Bilingual Social Media Lead (remote position – full-time).
The first and only Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) knowledge hub in the Middle East & North Africa, ESG Mena, www.esgmena.com , is actively seeking an experienced Social Media Lead (Arabic & English).
Reporting to the CEO & Editor-In-Chief, and the Lead Journalists of ESG Mena English & Arabic, the desired candidate would be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring ESG Mena’s multi-channel social media strategy in order to amplify our content, increase brand awareness, boost followers, improve marketing efforts and increase sales (visits / clicks to our partners’ banners).
Social Media Lead job description:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative individual with a passion for sustainability to join our small but mighty team as our Social Media Lead.
As our Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase the reach of our online presence and improve our marketing efforts and potential partnership opportunities. You will be working closely with the team of ESG Mena present across various geographies.

• Develop, implement and manage our multi-channel social media strategy
• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of our social accounts, including copywriting, publishing, scheduling, engagement and moderation in both Arabic & English
• Define the most important social media KPIs, and measure the success of every social media campaign,
• Provide regular competitor analysis to ensure ESG Mena is at the forefront of the industry
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
• Use social media marketing tools
• Work with journalists, videographers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Monitor SEO, traffic, and user engagement and suggest content optimisation
• Communicate and interact with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network & build ESG Mena brand awareness
• Manage and build key relationships with key stakeholders
• Provide constructive feedback
• Foster continued growth on ESG Mena socials in meaningful and authentic ways
• Adhere to rules and regulations
• Present regular reports to senior management

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Experience performing this role for news orgnisations/media companies
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both Arabic & English, French is a plus
• Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation
• Experience as a Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
• Excellent knowledge of and experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• Full understanding of SEO and SEM
• Flexible and able to perform in a fast-paced environment with concurrent and competing deadlines, with good time management skills
