Your challenges

• Take the helm as the technical leader for our rapidly expanding Software Development team spread across diverse countries worldwide by leading the charge in cultivating, coaching, and retaining an exceptional team poised to conquer challenges and deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with each member of your team, fostering strong rapport and enabling their professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with project and product managers, crafting strategic roadmaps for the Software development team’s pivotal role within the project timelines.
• Ensure standards are upheld and meeting deadlines are met through astute planning and adept task delegation of your team members.
• Exercise your expert triage skills to effectively manage issues, warding off bottlenecks and maintaining the team’s peak efficiency.
• Leave no stone unturned in ensuring the utmost quality and responsiveness of applications, actively participating in documentation, development, architecture, and audit endeavours.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in leading software development teams
• 7+ years of experience in writing code
• Remarkable management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with and achieve consensus among stakeholders
• Expertise in programming languages, preferably Node.js, C/C++, or Go
• Experience in front-end frameworks such as React.js
• Working knowledge of Redis, Git, and Docker
• Familiarity with microservices and scalable systems
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

• Expertise in asynchronous programming and scalable systems, as well as experience in relational database design and/or proficiency in open-source RDBMS systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL
