Operations Manager

About the job

The Operations Manager at Dkhoon Emirates is responsible for leading the operations and functional units by managing the day-to-day and overall strategic company operations in regards to contractual, financial, and strategic roadmaps for both new operational ventures and established ones. The Operations Manager assures providing timely reporting of operations and services progress reports and updates.

Planning and Development:

• Plan, develop and review company’s operational initiatives, objectives, policies, procedures and methods.

• Execute strategies for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly operations.

• Manage capacity planning and resources allocation and handling monthly resources planning for the company’s operations.

• Manage capacity planning in coordination with management to secure continuity of services and delivery for the company in all territories.

• Support in the company’s business expansion and align with the business team for building business roadmap and planning activities.

• Manage forecasting based on the company’s signed agreements, maintenance contract, change requests and purchase orders with Customers versus actual delivery and invoicing milestones.

Relation Management:

• Mange Key Strategic operational processes and Customer Engagements.

• Review and manage all service providers’ agreements not limited to renewals, licensing, support contracts, SLAs etc.

• Overlook and be accountable for timely execution of all operational projects while maintaining quality of work and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure thorough follow-up of all operational processes while ensuring risk assessment and risk management.

• Manage all vendor’s relationships and ensure meeting strategic goals and aligns internal teams to meet and support the company’s roadmaps.

• Ensure changes, updates, upgrades and improvements of all operational processes are timely aligned with company needs and the development team’s capacity and delivery.

Operations:

• Establish and monitor operations compliance with policies and procedures.

• Oversee productivity objectives and manage the achievement of quarterly and annual productivity plan objectives.

• Assist with performance development and measure job performance and reporting.

• Identify change initiatives for improved operating efficiency.

• Deliver weekly reports on the status of operations to management.

Anticipated Qualities

• Self-initiation with a proactive mentality and know-how-to-know skills.

• High level of performance, especially under pressure.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

• Excellent follow-up skills.

• Accuracy and attention to details.

• Proficiency in Arabic/English written and verbal communication.

• Experience in the retail industry and related operations

• Highly motivated and able to influence and motivate others.

• Ability to work in effective collaboration with technical, finance and business teams to ensure integrated approach.

• Knowledge of Project Management Institute methodologies and standards.

• Sound judgment in executing plans and achieving future goals.

  • Total years of experience as Operations Manager 5-7 years.
