Position: Investment Management Associate Attorney – Junior to Mid-Level

Office: Boston, Denver, New York, or Washington, DC Offices

Experience: 2 – 4 Years of Experience

Ideal Candidate

We have an urgent need for an Investment Management Associate in either our Boston, Denver, New York, or Washington, DC offices.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have 2-4 Years Of Experience, Preferably At An Am Law Top 100 Firm, In The Following Areas

• experience registering funds on Form N-1A and/or Form N-2 required.
• drafting board materials and minutes for registered investment companies.
• representing investment advisers, underwriters and service providers to the investment company and investment adviser community.
• advising operating companies on investment company status issues.
• advising private fund clients on the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and general securities laws, including issues relating to compliance, governance and product structure.

Outstanding writing and analytical skills and top academic credentials are essential. Bar admission in the state in which the attorney practices is required.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Boston, MA annual salary range: $225,000 to $295,000

Denver, CO annual salary range: $225,000 to $295,000

New York, NY annual salary range: $225,000 to $295,000

Washington, D.C. annual salary range: $225,000 to $295,000
