About the job
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Your duties will include analyzing financial information, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, and providing support for audits. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions.
2. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, regularly.
3. Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
5. Prepare documentation and provide support for audits, tax filings, and other financial activities.
6. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
7. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2 – 4 Years of experience as an accountant.
- Proven experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
