We are seeking a highly motivated Social Media Intern to assist with the development, execution, and evaluation of social media strategies for our consulting firm. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for helping to manage the firm’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You will work closely with the core team to create engaging content, drive engagement with our target audience, and support the development and execution of communication and marketing plans. This is an internship position.
360 Consulting is a private consultancy made up of hands-on, locally experienced, and culturally conscious experts specialized in the humanitarian, development, and public sectors. 360 Consulting supports non-profit and public sector actors through continuous research and evaluation, the development of sound institutional structures, and nurtures the development of sound skills and talents of future change pioneers.

● Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels in a timely manner
● Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop social media campaigns that align with business objectives and communication and marketing plans
● Conduct research to stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and the latest news in our industry
● Provide regular reports on social media performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement
● Help manage social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget optimization, and ad creative development
● Work closely with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all platforms
● Assist with content creation, including writing copy, creating graphics, and producing videos for social media channels and the firm’s website
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas to improve our social media presence and engagement
Qualifications:
● A degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
● Experience with social media management platforms

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing
● Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
● Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
● Basic knowledge of graphic design and video production tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or iMovie is a plus
Skills
● Social Media Management: Ability to manage various social media channels, use social media management tools to schedule and publish content, and monitor engagement.
● Content Creation: Ability to create engaging and relevant content for social media channels, including writing copy, designing graphics, and producing videos.
● Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, editing, and messaging that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
● Marketing and Advertising: Understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including audience targeting, budget optimization, and campaign development.
● Analytics and Reporting: Ability to analyze social media metrics and produce reports to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize campaigns.

Requirements:
Education: A University degree in relevant fields and subjects
Prior Work Experience: Minimum of 1 years of progressively experience in media, communication and/ or media.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic languages
