MEDICAL TOURISM TEAM LEADER

Tebcan is a leading company working in digital health with the vision to improve the overall healthcare quality by making healthcare more patient-centric, accessible, and reliable. Tebcan will enable the development of a learning health system for continuous improvement of quality healthcare where clinical decisions will be supported by accurate, timely and up to date patient clinical information.
Tebcan enables patients to reach quality healthcare locally and internationally, share their medical history with their healthcare professionals, rate and review their healthcare service experience and accumulate a medical history.
Similarly, it enables healthcare professionals to make more informed diagnosis based on availability of patient healthcare information, prescribe medication and diagnostic tests accurately and receive their results in a timely manner.
In addition, it provides national healthcare decision makers with patient clinical data that can be used for healthcare planning.
Tebcan is currently looking to recruit Medical Tourism Team Leader for its Medical Tourism Department
Job Responsibilities
Train the medical tourism staff on handling calls from patient.
Communicate with healthcare providers in all countries to get preferential prices for operations.
Build the Medical Tourism Network in Jordan, Saudi, Turkey, Egypt and other countries as needed.
Define clear processes for the department that ensures excellent results.
Monitor all the requests received and make sure that all patients are served and tickets are closed.
Answers inquiries from the Internet communication tools, social media, and telephone regarding Tebcan online medical bookings, online consultation, medical service providers network, procedures and pricing.
Arranges medical records transfer and communicates required pre-arrival diagnostic testing with the patient’s local physician, laboratory and imaging services.
Orients and educates patients and their families by; explaining the role of the patient care coordinator; initiating the care plan; providing educational information in conjunction with direct care providers related to treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care requirements.
Develops online multidisciplinary care plan and other case management tools by coordinating information and care requirements with other care providers through online referrals.
Monitors continuity of care, clinical, patient satisfaction outcomes and online registration on Tebcan.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Remain on call and available at any time a patient is in Jordan at our destination.
Patient Care Coordinator skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy or relevant field
5 Years of experience as a team leader or supervisor
Fluency in both Arabic and English in written, and conversational [languages] mandatory; additional languages a plus.
Persuasion, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Patient Services, Building Relationships, Resolving Conflict, Cultural Competency Awareness and Sensitivity.
Coordination, Listening, Scheduling, Teamwork, Regulatory Compliance and Medical Terminology.
Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Basic Knowledge of Medications we prescribe, lab and imaging procedures for pre-operative testing.
