Vacant Dean Position at Sohar University

Minimum Requirements For This Post Include

• A recognized doctorate with evidence of teaching skills and experience.
• Demonstrated research achievement.
• Excellent proficiency in English & Arabic
• Quality communication and effective teamwork skills.
• Candidate should have suitable qualifications and Admin and Academic Experience related to the majors the University offer.
• Candidate’s Academic Rank should not be less than Associate Professor.
• Candidate should have at least three years of admin experience in the same position field from University or a Faculty.
• Omani candidates can have exception from the years of experience after Ministry approval.

Package

• Attractive salary commensurate with qualifications/experience + housing and transportation allowance.
• Medical insurance for Omani staff (grant for staff only).
• Medical insurance for Non- Omani staff, spouse and 2 children under 18 living in Oman.
• Two year contract renewable subject to mutual agreement between the two parties (for non-Omani).
• Seven weeks paid annual leave and return air travel for staff, spouse and 2 children under 18 to country of origin.
• End of contract gratuity (for non-Omani).
