Position Summary
As the routing specialist, you will act as the SPOC for optimizing the routes in Nestlé in the designated region. This includes coordinating and reporting to the retail channel in addition to ensuring efficiencies and tackling areas of improvement.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Optimize customer routes in Nestlé’s sales distribution model.
- Ensure first class service is provided to our retail channel by defining frequency of visits and determining the critical product range that should be available at our customers, based on customer classification.
- Utilize our digital tools in line with achieving our sales KPIs to increase the efficiency of our retail sales trucks.
- Work on the routing exercise and ensure that the current RTM and routing across all regions are achieving our efficiencies.
- Evaluate the performance of our current fleet, and tackle areas of improvement to drive cost efficiencies initiatives.
What will make you successful?
- 0-2 years of experience in sales/distribution.
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel.
