Information Technology Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
Writing, Reviewing and Executing Computer System Validation documentation according to FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EMA, GAMP5 (Validation Plan, IQ, OQ, PQ, risk assessment, summary report. etc.).

Qualifications/Skills:

* System Admin Windows Server 2016 and 2019. (Active Directory, failover cluster, etc.)

* Microsoft Office 365.

* Veeam Backup Solution.

* Firewall and Antivirus.

* Virtualization

* NAS storage

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting the systems and networking (software, hardware)
Good knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EMA, GAMP5, and related regulations and guidelines related to the Pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry and industry best practices.
Good knowledge of Computer System Validation or any validation experience required.
Experience writing, reviewing and executing computer validation documentation (Validation Plan, IQ, OQ, PQ, Risk Assessment, Summary Report. etc.)
Software Validation experience with enterprise computer systems (ERP, LIMS, etc.) within the pharmaceutical industry.
Clinical Application Configuration, Build, Testing, and Management.
Creating, documenting, and executing SOP’s (standard operation procedure).
Experience with information security and management systems, and compliance standards.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or information systems, or related field
It will be considered a plus if the applicant can prove experience working in a clinical or healthcare environment.
