The Process Control Domain (PDC) IT Specialist advises the roadmap and sets standards for the System Engineering team and Maintenance teams, works closely with the Automation vendors and with the business to sustain PCD Integrity, maintain the OT landscape, implement the requirements and provide assurance.

This role has the following accountabilities:

The PCD IT Security Engineer is responsible for performing a wide range of activities:

• Buy Secure: Integrating system security and robustness requirements into procurement specifications and contract agreements
• Deploy Secure: Designing, developing and deploying resilient PCD architectures and system configurations during innovation and capital projects
• Run Secure: Managing and maintaining a secure PCD landscape in an operational facility and ensuring compliance with applicable standards
• Think Secure: Ensuring adequate PCD security awareness and competency training for all relevant stakeholders

Therefore, the PCD IT Specialist will:

Build PCD IT architectural hierarchy for the customer, Upgrade existing (if any) PCD IT plans for the customer, Develop Detail plan PCDI, Support data loggers making up/programming activity, Plans/manuals for PCD L2* hardening (batching, anti-virus …etc.) together with PAS contractor, Finalize Plant’s FTP server maintenance manual (scripts, backing up…etc.). Training CAST members on PCD IT maintenance skills.

Further:

 

• Ensures that the PCD risk profile and standards objectives are achieved, and develops solutions to maintain compliance
• Plans organises and assures PCD security requirements for the entire Process Control Domain
• Provides oversight of the work process implementation and deploys internal audits to sustain PCD integrity and health
• Ensures that asset registers, interfaces and applications are documented and maintained
• Delivers global product improvements with the automation vendors (Honeywell, Yokogawa, HIMA, Emerson and sub-system vendors in compliance with PCD integrity)
• Maintains an overview of the security measures that have been implemented for each system, including backup and restore arrangements, disaster recovery capabilities and access control management
• Reviews security logs and provides reports for identifying potential intrusion, and escalates incidents as necessary, ensuring incidents are properly investigated, remediated, reviewed and closed.
• Drives obsolescence, standardizes the architecture and technology and provides steer to system upgrade projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Proven experience with IT and PCD/OT standards like IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Skilled in network infrastructure design and implementation (CCNA / CCNP)
• Experience in working in the Oil and Gas industry on an operating asset, Process Automation vendors (ABB, Yokogawa, Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson) or equivalent external industry experience is an advantage
• Familiar with WirelessHART, LoRaWAN and other wireless communication protocols
• Team player with good interpersonal skills. Independent, self-starter. This position requires a motivated individual with good communication skills and a “can do” attitude.
• Fluency in English.
